President
Mr. Michael A. Sunbola – LLB (HONS) BL, LLM, MCIArb (UK)

Michael Sunbola is a legal practitioner by training and a motivational speaker; he obtained his first and Master’s degree from the prestigious University of Lagos. He is the Managing partner of Pundit Barristers & Solicitors; an arbitration practitioner with a grounded knowledge in insolvency, arbitration and mediation proceedings.

He is a member of several international and local professional bodies to wit: Fellow Leap Africa; Member, Chartered institute of Arbitrators –MCIArb (UK); Member, Lagos Court of Arbitration- MLCA ; Member, Maritime Arbitrators Association of Nigeria (MAAN) ; Certified Mediator of the Lagos Multi-door Court House (LMDC) ; Member Nigerian Institute of Advance Legal Studies   (NIALS) ; Member Business Recovery and Insolvency Practitioners Association of Nigeria (BRIPAN) ; Member of Institute of Trade Finance Management and Practice of Nigeria –TFMPN;  Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) .

He has a calling to advance the cause voiceless and reach out to the downtrodden, the needy and the less privileged.

Mrs. Vivian Maduekeh MSc. (Oxford); MIFST

Vivian Maduekeh is a Public Health and Food Systems Consultant with a keen interest in food safety, food security, nutrition, preventive medicine and health literacy. She is the Managing Principal/Founder of Food Health Systems Advisory Ltd (FHS Africa).

Preceding FHS Africa, She served as a health promotion lead at Nigeria’s premier health insurance firm Hygeia HMO, where she advised corporate clients on disease prevention.  She has also worked with the World Health Organization (WHO) Food Safety and Zoonosis Unit in Geneva, a UK Department for International Development (DFID) health project and with Rivers Vegetable Oil Company (RIVOC) as a quality control/ water safety officer.

Vivian holds a MSc in International Health and Tropical Medicine from the University of Oxford, UK as an ExxonMobil Global Health Scholar; and a BSc. (Hons) in Food Science and Technology from the Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike. Vivian is a professional member of the Institute of Food Science and Technology (IFST).

Vivian was selected as a New Voices Fellow (food security) at the Aspen Institute, USA for her outstanding work. She was also nominated as one of the top 42 young African innovators to watch by Ventures Africa.

Vivian is a strong believer in food system strengthening and has an excellent track record of delivering solutions that integrate global health, food systems and agriculture in emerging markets.

Mr. Joses U. Aso, BSc (Food Sc. & Tech), MNIFST

Mr. Joses Aso is a seasoned food professional and Food Scientist/Technologist by training. With over 10years’ experience in the Food Services industry, he has served in various capacities including Production Mgr, Restaurant Mgr, Commercial Mgr, Brand Mgr and Quality Control/Assurance Mgr. Currently; he is the QA/QC Mgr of Mama Cass Restaurants Ltd Lagos. Joses is a professional member of the Nigeria Institute of Food Science & Technologist (NIFST). He is very passionate about the essence of food and feeding the hungry.

Hassan Abibat Oluwatoyin, — BSc. MSc.-

Abibat Hassan is a trained HR Practitioner. She obtained her first and Master’s degree from the University of Lagos. She presently works with Sahara Group Limited, a leading energy firm in Lagos and other parts of Africa. She is passionate about feeding the needy and serving humanity.

Mrs. Ololade Asuku, — MED, BA (Ed) 

Mrs Ololade is a trained counsellor and woman of diverse practice. She obtained her first degree and Masters in Guidance & Counselling from the prestigious University of Lagos as the best graduating. She has offered her pro-bono professional services in Boys Correctional Centre Oregun and Ikoyi prison. She is the co-founder of Lagos Food Bank and has consistently supported the cause of the organization in every capacity.

ADVISORY BOARD/ GOVERNING BODY

Mr. Yinka Odunlami CPA, MBA

Olayinka obtained his MBA in Finance and Management from LaSalle University, Philadelphia and a dual BBA in Accounting and Finance from The Fox School of business, Temple University, Philadelphia. He is a Certified Public Accountant, and an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. He is a member of the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) USA.

He is the CEO of Recycle Works Limited; His career experience also spans supervisory and management positions at The Siegfried group, Independence Blue Cross and KPMG, LLC, ACE USA, A global 500 Property and Casualty insurance company; Millennium Business Services (Founder and CEO), Wazobia Café, (co-founder), O & O Gadgets Nigeria Limited (co-founder and CFO), O & O Procure Nigeria Limited (co-founder and CFO).

He also enjoys providing small business financial planning education seminars and trainings coupled with his passion for community service, barbequing and playing soccer/football.

Nwando Okonkwo Ajene

Nwando Okonkwo Ajene holds a degree in Integrated Marketing Communication from the University of Chicago Graham School of General Studies. She received her Bachelors of Commerce in Marketing from DePaul University in Chicago.

A marketing professional with over 16 years’ experience in Brand and Marketing strategy across developed and emerging markets.

Nwando is currently the Marketing Services Manager at Nestle Nigeria responsible for strategic planning and executions of Brand Communications, Digital/Media, Consumer marketing and experiential marketing. Prior to her role at Nestle, she served as the Head of Corporate Communications for the Nigeria Stock Exchange (NSE). Nwando also worked as the Business Development Director for EXP supporting Telco’s and CPG companies to develop brand strategies in Africa. Mrs. Ajene has spent over a decade in a range of roles for leading global companies including ABN AMBRO, Quaker Oats, and Northern Trust Bank in the United States.

Clement Chukwuka

Clement Chukwuka Obtained his Business Administration Degree from the Krannert School of Management of the Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana-USA. He is also an alumnus of the University of Calabar and the University of Ibadan where he studied Petroleum Geology.

He is a strategic thinker, a mentor and an energy specialist who has distinguished himself in multiple aspects of the upstream oil and gas value chain. He is passionate about infusing value-driven collaborative approaches and solutions to organizations across continents.

He is a strong advocate for ideation, innovation, technology and the emergence of young leaders. A regular volunteer at the Houston Food bank where he helps to pack meals for seniors, kids and those, who need just something to make it through any given day. He believes that there are enough resources and opportunities in this world, to meet everyone’s needs, and the next action is how we share these resources. He is an advisory board member of the African Achievers Awards
